Website development for one of the largest specialist supported housing providers in the UK
Following the merger of two supported housing organisations, Portus manages 2,340 homes across England and Wales.
Development of the website involved cooperation between multiple agencies for branding (IPB Communications) and technical support (Lima Insight-led IT services).
Collaborating closely with IPB and the teams at the two merged providers: Bespoke Supportive Tenancies (BeST) and Westmoreland Supported Housing, we worked diligently to launch the site, as scheduled, on December 1st 2025.
A strong brief, provided by IPB Communications, required that the website be consistent in terms of design and layout whilst also being accessible. As an example, the home page has a WAVE AIM score of 9.6 (5 is the web average) - The WAVE Accessibility IMpact (AIM) score provides a measure of impact of page accessibility issues on users with disabilities.
Good communication was the key to bringing this website together, along with experience and a desire to create a website that makes it easy for customers to find what they need from the provider.
